Forest Breathing
I invite you to the forest for a one-to-one session. Maybe you feel you need to slow down. Maybe something is weighing on you and you’re not sure what to do with it. Or maybe you simply want to breathe.
We come to the forest and make space for whatever is here. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we sit in silence. Sometimes we simply breathe.
FAQ
How to book a session?
It’s best to write on WhatsApp or call: +48 604 080 433
You can also send an email: hello@monikakotus.com
Who is this for?
For you, if you feel like you need a break. Some come with specific questions. Others just want to be there. Both are fine.
How long does a session last?
We usually meet for about 2 hours. But if you need a shorter or longer session — we can adjust it. We discuss the details when scheduling the meeting.
Is this therapy?
No, this is not therapy. I’m a guide — I accompany you in whatever you’re feeling. I can be with you and create a safe space. If you need professional psychological support, I truly encourage you to seek it. Forest Breathing can be a gentle complement alongside therapy.
Will I have to walk barefoot or hug trees?
No, if you feel the need, of course you can.
What to bring?
Comfortable shoes. Clothes you feel good in. Water. Something to sit on.

How do we do it?
We meet in Toruń or nearby. Every session is different — we create it together.
I can show you breathing techniques that calm the body. Sometimes we do simple mindfulness practices — small things that help you return to yourself. If you want, we can go deeper: Reiki techniques, energy work. Or we simply sit and do nothing. Sometimes we talk.
From a scientific point of view: trees release phytoncides, which lower cortisol and support the immune system. But there is also something more. Research shows that mindfulness practices reduce activity in the amygdala — the part of the brain responsible for stress responses. When you give yourself space to simply be, your nervous system shifts from “fight or flight” into a state of regeneration. The forest is simply a good place for that to happen.

What do you take with you?
Calm. The real kind — when you feel you can finally breathe fully again.
More clarity. The things that felt tangled before the session suddenly start to make sense. Or at least you know which direction to take.
Tools for working with yourself. Concrete breathing techniques and ways to return to yourself when things get heavy again.
And something harder to name — a sense that you can trust yourself. That you already carry what you’re looking for.
A space where your mind, body, and heart can return to conversation with one another.

About me
I am a certified Forest Bathing Guide (Forest Therapy Hub). I also completed the Holistic School of Trainers and I am a Reiki Master.
In addition, I’ve worked in technology and artificial intelligence for 15 years. I know what it feels like to live in your head, in tasks, in constant motion. And I know that to not lose yourself in it, you need a way to return to who you are. These practices give me that balance.
I’ve learned how to create a space where you can simply be. A safe one. Sometimes that’s all you need — someone who stays beside you while you let yourself slow down.
